ONGOING PROJECTS

SmackDab! is a ground-breaking anthology project which explores issues of the Midwest Asian American experience (in progress...we need $ and volunteers!)

Chop is our annual art and performance show premiering works by literary, performance and visual artists of AAAC.

The Collective Show in conjunction with the Asian American Film Showcase for their closing night is an annual tradition featuring performative and multimedia collaborations within AAAC which address and comment on current topics of major political, social or cultural events such as re: 911 and Register This! April 11, 2004 we performed Mars, Marriage and Mass DistrAction directed by Sheelah Murthy. Details for 2005 TBD.

Political Education Workshop Series is an series intended to educate members of the Collective about pressing issues affecting the APIA community.

Talk Back is an on-going series of informal dialogue among emerging artists in AAAC and established local and national artists.
